Canadian Physiotherapy Association

As a member of the Alberta Association of Physical Therapy you have access to the courses of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. By logging into your CPA account, you can access the PD Marketplace. The PD Marketplace is powered by Embodia, which provides access to not only CPA courses, but a broad spectrum of PT courses provided by other providers as well.

Topics include acupuncture, animal rehab, integrative and lifestyle medicine, pediatrics, pelvic health, seniors health, and private practice/business.

Bia Education

Bia Education is an education center for physiotherapists. We provide free educational resources such as webinars, blogs and videos. We have a wide variety of online courses in 10 themes! Bia offers a discount to AAP members.

Physioplus

Physioplus provides access to 450+ online courses, with accreditation for CEU and CPD. Physioplus is a platform that provides physiotherapists all over the world with the resources they need to support their lifelong career.

The range of topics include musculoskeletal, pediatric, pelvic health, cardiovascular, women health, men health, telehealth, sport, spinal cord injury, pain, orthotics, assistive technology, general, etc.  

ContinuedED

ContinuED Physicaltherapy.com has been providing online continuing education for more than 20 years and offers 500+ courses over 30 topic areas, including live webinars, recorded asynchronous learning options, text, and audio options. Each course provides quality, evidence-based content and a certificate of completion. 

University of Alberta Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine

The University of Alberta’s Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine provides continuing professional education programs, completely online, in the form of graduate certificate programs, non-credit micro-credential courses, and workshops and other offerings. 

For example, two currently available micro-credential courses include the Physical Therapy Practice in the CND Healthcare System and Level1: Pelvic Health.
